Vyayam Slokas in Sanskrit-1
न चास्ति सदृशं तेन किंचितस्थौल्यापकर्षणम्।
प्रसन्नात्मेन्द्रियमनाः है स्वस्थ इत्यभिधीयते।।
Transliteration-
Na Chasti Sadriśṁ Tena Kinchitsthaulyāpakarṣaṇaṁ.
Prasannātmendriyamanāḥ Hai Svasth Ityabhidhīyate.
हिंदी अनुवाद -
अधिक स्थूलता को दूर करने के लिए व्यायाम से बढ़कर कोई और औषधि नहीं है, व्यायामी मनुष्य से उसके शत्रु सर्वदा डरते हैं और उसे दुःख नहीं देते।
English Translation-
There is no other medicine than exercise to remove excessive grossness, the enemies of the exercising man are always afraid of him and do not give him sorrow.
Vyayam Slokas in Sanskrit-2
व्यायामं कुर्वतो नित्यं विरुद्धमपि भोजनम्।
विदग्धमविदग्धं वा निर्दोषं परिपच्यते।।
Transliteration-
Vyāyāmaṁ Kurvato Nityaṁ Viruddhamapi Bhojanaṁ.
Vidagddhamavidagdhaṁ Vā Nirdeṣaṁ Paripachyate.
हिंदी अनुवाद -
व्यायाम करने वाला मनुष्य गरिष्ठ, जला हुआ अथवा कच्चा किसी प्रकार का भी खराब भोजन क्यों न हो, चाहे उसकी प्रकृति के भी विरुद्ध हो, भलीभांति पचा जाता है और कुछ भी हानि नहीं पहुंचाता।
English Translation-
Any kind of spoiled food, whether it is heavy, burnt or raw, even if it is against his nature, is well digested and does not harm anything.

Vyayam Slokas in Sanskrit-3
शरीरोपचयः कान्तिर्गात्राणां सुविभक्तता।
दीप्ताग्नित्वमनालस्यं स्थिरत्वं लाघवं मृजा।।
Transliteration-
Śarīropachayaḥ Kāntirgātrāṇāṁ Suvibhaktatā.
Dīptāgnitvamanālasyaṁ Sthiratvaṁ Lāghavaṁ Mr̥jā
हिंदी अनुवाद -
व्यायाम से शरीर बढ़ता है। शरीर की कान्ति वा सुन्दरता बढ़ती है। शरीर के सब अंग सुड़ौल होता हैं। पाचनशक्ति बढ़ती है। आलस्य दूर भागता है। शरीर दृढ़ और हल्का होकर स्फूर्ति आती है। तीनों दोषों की शुद्धि होती है।
English Translation-
The body grow with exercise. The beauty or beauty of the body increases. All Parts of the body are curvy. Digestion power increases. Laziness runs away. The body Becomes firm and light, energizes. All three doṣas are purified.
Vyayam Slokas in Sanskrit-4
न चैनं सहसाक्रम्य जरा समधिरोहति।
स्थिरीभवति मांसं च व्यायामाभिरतस्य च।
Transliteration-
Na chainaṁ Sahasākramya Jarā Samadhirohati.
Sthirībhavati Mānsaṁ Cha Vyāyāmābhiratasya Cha.
हिंदी अनुवाद -
व्यायामी मनुष्य पर बुढ़ापा सहसा आक्रमण नहीं करता, व्यायामी पुरुष का शरीर और हाड़ मांस सब स्थिर होते हैं।
English Translation-
The old age does not attack the exerciser, the body and the flesh of the exerciser are all stable.
Vyayam Slokas in Sanskrit-5
श्रमक्लमपिपासोष्णशीतादीनां सहिष्णुता।
आरोग्यं चापि परमं व्यायामदुपजायते।।
Transliteration-
Śramaklamapipasoṣṇaśītādīnāṁ Sahiṣṇutā.
Ārogyaṁ Chāpi paramaṁ Vyāyāmadupajāyate.
हिंदी अनुवाद -
श्रम थकावट ग्लानि प्यास शीत (जाड़ा) उष्णता (गर्मी ) आदि सहने की शक्ति व्यायाम से ही आती है और परम आरोग्य अर्थात स्वास्थ्य की प्राप्ति भी व्यायाम से ही होती है।
English Translation-
The power to bear labor, exhaustion, guilt, thirst, cold (winter), heat etc. comes only through exercise and attainment of ultimate health i.e. health also comes from exercise.
Vyayam Slokas in Sanskrit-6
समदोषः समाग्निश्च समधातुमलक्रियः।
प्रसन्नात्मेन्द्रियमनाः स्वस्थ इत्यभिधीयते।।
Transliteration-
Samadoṣaḥ Samāgniścha Samadhātumalakriyaḥ.
Prasannātmendriyamanāḥ Svastha Ityabhidhīyate.
हिंदी अनुवाद -
जिस मनुष्य के दोष वात, पित्त और कफ, अग्नि, रसादि सात धातु, सम अवस्था में तथा स्थिर रहते हैं, मल मूत्रादि की क्रिया ठीक होती है और शरीर की सब क्रियायें समान और उचित हैं, और जिसके मन इन्द्रिय और आत्मा प्रसन्न रहें वह मनुष्य स्वस्थ है।
English Translation-
The man whose faults are vata, pitta and kapha, fire, rasadi, seven metals, in the same state and remain stable, the action of faces and urine is fine and all the actions of the body are equal and proper and the mind, senses and soul are happy. Man is healthy.
Vyayam Slokas in Sanskrit-7
व्यायामात् लभते स्वास्थ्यं दीर्घायुष्यं बलं सुखं।
आरोग्यं परमं भाग्यं स्वास्थ्यं सर्वार्थसाधनम्।।
Transliteration-
Vyāyāmāt Labhate Svāsthyaṁ Dīrghāyuṣyaṁ Balaṁ Sukhaṁ.
Ārogyaṁ Paramaṁ Bhagyaṁ Svasthyaṁ Sarvārthasādhanaṁ.
हिंदी अनुवाद -
व्यायाम से स्वास्थ्य, लम्बी आयु, बल और सुख की प्राप्ति होती है। निरोगी होना परम भाग्य है और स्वास्थ्य से अन्य सभी कार्य सिद्ध होते हैं।
English Translation
Exercise leads to health, longevity, strength and happiness. Being healthy is the ultimate destiny and all other deeds are accomplished by Health.
Vyayam Slokas in Sanskrit-7
शरीरायासजननं कर्म व्यायामसंज्ञितम्।
तत्कृत्वा तू सुखं देहं विमृद्नीयात् समन्ततः।।
Transliteraion-
Śarīrāyāsajananaṁ Karma Vyāyāmasaṁjñitaṁ.
Tatkr̥itvā Tū Sukhaṁ Dehaṁ Vimr̥dnīyāt Samantataḥ.
हिंदी अनुवाद-
शारीरिक परिश्रम से उत्पन्न थकावट पैदा करने वाला कार्य व्यायाम नाम से जाना जाता है अर्थात उसे व्यायाम कहते हैं उसे करके सुखपूर्वक शरीर की पूरी तरह से मालिश करनी चाहिए।
English Translation-
Exercise resulting from physical exertion is known as exercise, that is, it is called exercise, after doing it, one should massage the body thoroughly with pleasure.
Vyayam Slokas in Sanskrit-7
व्यायामस्विन्नगात्रस्य पद्भ्यामुद्वर्तितास्य च।
व्याधयो नोपसर्पन्ति वैनतेयमिवोरगः
वयोरुपगुणैः हीनमपि कुर्यात्सुदर्शनम्।।
Transliteration-
Vyāyāmasvinnagātrasya Padbhyāmudvartitāsya Cha.
Vyādhayo Nopasarpanti Vainateyamivoragaḥ
Vayorupagunaiḥ Hīnamapi Kuryātsudarśanaṁ.
हिंदी अनुवाद -
व्यायाम करने से उत्पन्न पसीने से लथपथ शरीर वाले के और दोनों पैरों को ऊपर उठाकर व्यायाम करने वाले के पास रोग उसी प्रकार नहीं जाते हैं जिस प्रकार गरुड़ के पास साँप नहीं जाते हैं। अतः व्यायाम आयु, रूप और गुण से रहित व्यक्ति को भी सुन्दर दिखाई देने वाला बना देता है।
English Translation-
Diseases do not go to the person who is soaked in sweat due to exercise and to the exerciser by raising both the legs in the same way as snakes do not go to the eagle. Therefore, exercise makes a person devoid of age, form and quality look beautiful.
