7. The population of India is over one hundred thirty-eight crore.

8. There are eight union territories and twenty-eight states in India.

9. New Delhi is the capital of this country.

10.  India got Freedom on 15 August, 1947.

11. The Tajmahal, Ajanta and Ellora, Kutub Minar, Simla, Kashmir, Darjeeling, Puri etc. are some worth seeing places and things of the country.

12. The Ganges, Yamuna, Kaberi are the rivers of India. 

13. We are proud of being called Indians.
