How to write a story?

1. Read the outline of the story again and again to create the plot.

2. The story must be given a name.

3. Write one sentence following the outline.

4. There must be some dialogue in the story.

5. A moral of the story must be given.

6. The past tense will be used to compose the story.


1. Write a story on following points:

  A Thirsty crow-flying for water- found a pitcher-water at the bottom (of the pitcher) - could not get - made a plan- dropped some pebbles-water rose- crow drink-flew away. 

A CLEVER CROW

Once a crow was thirsty. The day was very hot. It flew about in search of water. But could not find water anywhere. At last if founding earthen pitcher. He flew there. It saw a little water at the bottom of it. But he could not get at it. 

"How can I drink water form it ?" said the crow to himself.

It made out a plan. It saw some pebbles nearby. It dropped them one by one into the pitcher. The level of water rose up. The crow drank to his hearts and flew away.

Moral of the story:  Necessity is the mother of invention.

2. Write a story on following points:

  A fox hungry- saw some grape- hanging high fox jumped but could not reach- tried a again - gave up hopes- told grapes are sour - went with heavy heart.

THE FOX AND THE GRAPES 

Once a Fox was very hungry. He went here and there in search of food. Soon he came to a vineyard. He saw some ripe grapes were hanging. He was very glad to see the grapes. He jumped up to get the grapes. But the fox could not reach them. He tried again and again vain. At last he became disappointed. He said to him "I think the grapes are sour. Saying this the fox left the place with a heavy heart.


Moral of the story: The rogue always pinches an Excuses.

3. Write a story on following points:

 A little mouse ran into a sleeping lion's nose - the lion wanted to kill him- he begged his pardon- he was set free- one day the lion caught in the a trap- the mouse came to his  help.

THE LION AND THE MOUSE

 One day a lion was sleeping in his den, nearby a little mouse was playing. Suddenly he entered into the lion's nose. The lion woke and caught the mouse with his paws. The angry lion said, "I will now kill you?" The mouse begged for mercy. "Please don't kill me". The lion set it free.

One day the lion was caught in a farmer's net. He was roaring. The mouse heard it. The mouse came there and cut the net into pieces with his sharp teeth. The lion was free and said, "Thank you, mouse for saving my life.


Moral of the story: One good turn deserve another.

4. Write a story on following points:

 A dove saw an ant floating with current- the dove dropped a dry leaf to the ant - the ant saved - a hunter aimed at the dove- the bit the hunter(in his leg)- he missed his aim. 

THE ANT AND THE DOVE

A dove lived in a tree beside a river. One day he saw an ant was a floating with the current. The dove took pity on the ant. It dropped a dry leaf on the water. The ant got on the leaf and wet to the shore. The ant saved its life.

One day a hunter aimed at the dove. The ant wanted to save the dove. It bit the hunter in the foot. He cried out in pain and missed the target. The bird flew away and thanked the ant. 


Moral of the story:  A little thing may be a great help.

5. Write a story on following points:

 An old man - his sons always quarreled - he asked them to break a bundle of sticks - they could not - untied the bundle - broke one stick at a time - learnt the value of unity.

 THE OLD MAN AND HIS SONS

There lived an old man is a village. He had three sons. The sons always quarreled among themselves. For this the old man always was very unhappy. The old man advised is sons not to quarrel, but they did not her him. He  brought a bundle of sticks and asked his sons to break it one by one. All his sons tried one bye one but could not break it He ( the old man) untied the sticks and gave them a single stick to break. Now the sons could easily break the sticks. He said, "My dear sons' if you live together unitedly, nobody can do you any harm". At las the sons stopped quarreling and lived in peace.


 Moral of the story: United we stand, divided we fall.
