चिता चिंता समा हि उक्ता बिन्दुमात्र विशेषतः।  

सजीवं दहते चिन्ता निर्जीवं दहते चिता।।

Transliteration: 

Chitā Chintā Samā Hi Uktā Bindumātra Viśeṣataḥ.

Sajīvaṁ Dahate Chintā Nirjīvaṁ Dahate Chitā

Hindi Meaning: संस्कृत भाषा में चिता (चिता: किसी व्यक्ति की मृत्यु के बाद उसे जलाने के लिए लगाई गई आग), और चिंता (चिंता: चिंता/अवसाद) दोनों ही लेखन में बहुत समान हैं, उनमें केवल शीर्ष पर एक बिंदु का अंतर है। यहां तक कि उनके अर्थों में भी काफी समानता है, जहां चिंता (चिंता/अवसाद) व्यक्ति को जीवित होने पर जला देती है, वहीं चिता व्यक्ति को मरने पर जला देती है।

English Meaning: In Sanskrit language both Chita (Chita: The fire arranged to burn a person after his/her death), and Chinta (Chinta: worry/depression) are very similar in writing, all the difference they have is just a dot at the top. Hindi Meaning: जो होना नियत नहीं है, वह होगा ही नहीं। जो होना नियत है, वह तो अवश्य ही होगा। चिन्तारूपी विष का शमन करने वाली इस बोधरूपी औषधि का सेवन लोग क्यों नहीं करते हैं?

English Meaning: That which is not destined to happen, will not happen, and that which is destined to happen, will certainly happen. Why don’t people consume this medicine of knowledge that relieves the poison of worry?

प्रियवाक्य प्रदानेन सर्वे तुष्यन्ति जन्तवः।

तस्मात् तदैव वक्तव्यम् वचने का दरिद्रता॥

Transliteration:

Priyavākya Pradānena Sarve Tuṣyanti Jantavaḥ

Tasmāt Tadaiva Vaktavyam Vacane Kā Daridratā

Hindi Meaning:  प्रिय वाक्य बोलने से सभी जीव संतुष्ट हो जाते हैं, अतः प्रिय वचन ही बोलने चाहिए। ऐसे वचन बोलने में कंजूसी कैसी।
