Short Sanskrit Story with Moral The Clever Crow

Moral Story in Sanskrit:

चतुरः काकः 

एकः काकः अस्ति। तदा ग्रीष्मकालः। काकस्य पिपासा। जलं आवश्यकं। अत्र पश्यति। जलं नास्ति। तत्र पश्यति। जलं नास्ति। कुत्रापि जलं नास्ति। काकः कष्टेन बहुदूरं गच्छति। तत्र सः एकं घटं पश्यति। काकस्य अतीव सन्तोषः भवति। किन्तु घटे स्वल्पं एव जलं अस्ति। काकः किं करोति ? 

जलं कथं पिबामि ? ….. इति काकः चिन्तयति। काकः चतुरः। सः एकं उपायं करोति। शिलाखण्डं आनयति। घटे स्थापयति। पुनः गच्छति। शिलाखण्डं आनयति।   घटे स्थापयति। पुनः शिलाखण्डं आनयति। पुनः घटे स्थापयति। जलं  उपरि आगच्छति। 

काकः सन्तोषेण जलं पिबति। अन्यत्र गच्छति। 

Moral of the Story: समाधानं वर्तमान बुद्ध्या एव लभ्यते

Moral Story:

The Clever Crow

There is a crow. Then it was summer. The crow's thirst. Water is essential. He looks at it here. There is no water. He looks there. There is no water. There is no water anywhere. The crow barely goes very far. There he sees a pot. The crow is very satisfied. But there is very little water in the pot. What is the crow doing? 

How do I drink water? …. thinks the crow. The crow is clever. He makes a solution. He brings a piece of stone. He puts it in the pot. It goes back. He brings a piece of stone. He puts it in the pot. He brings the stone again. He puts it back in the pot. The water is coming up. 

The crow drinks the water with satisfaction. It goes somewhere else.

Moral of the Story: Solutions are found only by present intelligence
