Transliteration-
"Om Asto Mā sadgamaya Tamaso Māa Jyatirgamaya, Mr̥r̥tyormā Amr̥r̥taṁ Gamaya."
Hindi Translation-
हे प्रभु! असत्य से सत्य, अन्धकार से प्रकाश और मृत्यु से अमरता की और मेरी गति हो।
English Translation-
Oh God! From falsehood to truth, from darkness to light and from death to immortality, and my speed.

English Translation-
I salute Bhagwati, the one who is the best among all, the one who is auspicious, who is the half-fire of Lord Shiva, who fulfills everyone's wishes.

ज्ञान की देवी सरस्वती जिसकी जिव्हा पर सारे श्लोकों का सार है जो बुद्धि की देवी कही जाती है और जो ब्रह्म देव की पत्नी है ऐसी माँ का वास मेरे अन्दर सदैव रहे ऐसी कामना है।
English Translation-
Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, whose tongue is the essence of all the verses, who is said to be the goddess of wisdom and who is the wife of Brahma Dev, such a mother's abode in me is such a wish.

English Translation-
My salutations to Maa Lakshmi, who is the goddess of power, the goddess of wealth, who is worshiped by all the deities, who have conch shells and chakras in their hands.

वन्दे तां परमेश्वरीं भगवतीं बुद्धिप्रदां शारदां।।"

Viṇā-Pustaka-Dhāriṇīmabhayadāṁ Jyāḍyāndhākarāpāhāṁ.

शुक्ल वर्ण वाली, सम्पूर्ण जगत में व्याप्त,महाशक्ति ब्रह्मस्वरूपीणी, आदिशक्ति परब्रह्म के विषय में किये गए विचार एवं चिंतन के सार रूप परम उत्कर्ष को धारण करने वाली, सभी भयों से मुक्त रहने वाली, अज्ञान के अंधकार को मिटाने वाली ,हाथो में वीणा, स्फटिक की माला धारण करने वाली और पद्मासन पर विराजित बुद्धि प्रदान करने वाली सर्वोच्च ऐश्वर्य से अलंकृत, माँ भगवती शारदा को मैं वंदन करती हूँ।
English Translation-
Having bright complexion, pervading the whole world, Mahashakti Brahm Swarupini, the essence of thought and contemplation about the Adishakti Parabrahman, who holds the ultimate lofty, free from all fears, dispels the darkness of ignorance, Veena in hands, I bow to Mother Bhagwati Sharda, who is adorned with the supreme opulence, who wears a garland of crystals and bestows wisdom seated on Padmasana.

English Translation-
Who has no form, Who is the origin of Om, Who has no kingdom, Who is the abode of the kernel, Who is beyond all knowledge, Word, Who is the lord of Kailash, Whose form is fearful, Who is the master of Kaal Those who are generous and kind, who are the treasure of virtues, who are beyond the whole world, I am bowed before them.

जो विद्या देवी कुंद के पुष्प, शीतल चन्द्रमा, हिमराशि और मोती के हार की तरह स्वेत वर्ण की है और जिन्हे हाथ में वीणा शोभायमान है और जो श्वेत कमल पर विराजित हैं तथा ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और महेश और सभी देवता जिनकी नित्य वन्दना करते है वही अज्ञान के अन्धकार को दूर करने वाली माँ भगवती हमारी रक्षा करे।
English Translation-
The one who is of white color like a garland of goddess Kunda, the cool moon, snow and pearls, and who has a veena in her hand and who is seated on a white lotus and whom Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh and all the deities worship regularly, is the same. . . . . . May Bhagwati, who removes the darkness of ignorance, protect us.
