चटकः वानरः च संस्कृत कथा

वने एकः वृक्षः आसीत्। वृक्षे एकः चटकः वसति स्म। एकदा तत्र मन्दं मन्दं वृष्टिः भवति। एकः वानरः आश्रयार्थं वृक्षस्य अधः आगच्छति। वानरं दृष्ट्वा चटकः वदति- " भोः वानर, भवतः शरीरं मनुष्यशरीरं इव अस्ति। हस्तौ पादौ च सम्यक सन्ति। भवान् उत्तमगृहस्य निर्माणं किं न करोति?" तत् श्रुत्वा वानरः कुपितः भवति। वानरः चटकम् वदति -"किमर्थं भवान् मौनं न तिष्ठति? किमर्थं मम उपहासं करोति?" इति उक्त्वा सः वानरः वृक्षं आरोहति।

वानरः चटकस्य नीडं नाशयति।

नीतिसंदेश:

अयोग्यः उपदेशं न अर्हति।

English Translation:

Sparrow and the Monkey Sanskrit Story

There was a tree in the forest. A Sparrow lived in the tree. Once there is a gentle rain. A monkey comes under a tree for shelter. Seeing the monkey, Sparrow says, "My monkey, your body is like a human body. Your hands and feet are perfect. Why don't you build a good house?" The monkey is angry when he hears that. English Translation:

The clever crow
